We bring remote diagnostics to healthcare, workplaces, and home sofas! Doctor shortage and accessibility are two major societal challenges: there are more doctors per population than ever before, yet still many areas struggle with shortage. The problem does not only concern remote areas, but also hospitals and health centers: there is no way to recruit enough doctors. According to recent studies, the shortage of doctors cannot be solved just by increasing the number of trainings or raising salaries.
A strong restructuring of the social and health sector is underway in everywhere: from North to South, from East to West. There is a great need to produce healthcare services more efficiently. Typically, patients still only see doctors in physical appointments. Internationally it is expected that local healthcare services will only continue to be reduced and centralized, in which case the distance to service will increase even more.
